Tuzla,
situated on the south
- east slopes of the
Majevica mountain, occupies
the central area of
north - east Bosnia.
Two minor rivers, Jala
and Solina, run through
the town. The elevation
of the town is 239 meter
above sea level, and
it occupies an area
of approximately 15
square kilometer. The
town has a population
of approximately 100
000, while the greater
municipal area has 170
000 inhabitants. It's
the fourth biggest town
in Bosnia and Herzegovina
and it's the economic,
scientific, cultural,
educational, health
and tourist center of
